The area of safety engineering is encompassed within the duties and responsibilities of the Buildings Services Engineering Department, which advises the individual profit centers in all aspects of work safety in accordance with the employee safety law, as well as the carrying out of legal statutory evaluations, i.e. the investigation, appraisal, and documentation of all relevant dangers at each work place.
The Buildings Services Engineering Department offers full service in the area of buildings services engineering, which encompasses heating, air conditioning, sanitary and ventilation techniques. This service ranges from the acceptance of clients' wishes, planning - including compilation of tenders and contract specifications, checking the bidding documents from a technical and economic point of view, awarding a contract, supervision of building, coordination of eventual quality inspection tests, carrying out all authority procedures necessary for the individual projects, to invoicing the orders.
Further, it is incumbent upon the Buildings Services Engineering Department to monitor the existing technical equipment in the building, including coordination of regular maintenance operations, as well as trouble shooting recurring malfunctions.
