In ART for ART's costume collection, one can find more than 250.000 costumes from the last 60 years of the state theatres (Vienna State Opera, Volksoper, Burgtheater, Akademie Theater). If they were hung one behind the other, they would stretch over a length of 9 kilometers.
International festivals, opera and theater companies, film and television producers are amongst the regular enthusiastic clients . The annual Life Ball fashion show is sponsored by the ART for ART collection.
The collection is also available for private clients.
